Meet the ultimate environmental sensor, the HydroMesh 9-in-1 Environmental Sensor and ePAR Spectrometer measures all of your grow space climate parameters with best-in-class accuracy.

Measure: 1) Temperature, 2) Pressure, 3) Humidity, 4) VPD, 5) CO2, 6) ePPFD, 7) DLI, 8) Photoperiod, and 9) Spectrometer!

This wireless mesh connected sensor just needs to be plugged into a standard USB-A connection point with the included link cable!

Accurate environmental data is important if you want to keep critical parameters in check like Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Daily Light Integral (DLI). Keeping the VPD within recommended ranges has several favorable effects on your plants. Proper VPD leads to transpiration rates ideal for maximum growth rates. Too high of VPD will lead to high transpiration rates and "thirsty" plants which can make your crop steering endeavors very difficult. Too low of VPD may result in low transpiration rates with plants that don't "drink" much nutrient solution through their root system. This could lead stunted growth, nutrient deficiencies, or even mold related problems!

Proper Carbon Dioxide (CO2) supplementation has been shown to increase yields by as much as 30% or more. As a reference, outdoor CO2 levels around the globe currently range from approximately 350 ppm to 450 ppm. The EN13779 indoor living air quality standard rates CO2 levels of 400 ppm to 600 ppm as "Medium Quality" and 600 ppm to 1000 ppm as "Moderate Quality" which is very typical for the spaces we live in every day. Your plants will achieve maximum growth rates in environments with CO2 the concentration 1500 ppm. Recall the old saying that "too much of a good thing can be bad"? Well CO2 levels that approach 2000 ppm can be fatal to your crop!
The Daily Light Integral (DLI) is the true measure of the supply of light to your plants and can be obtained by measuring extended Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (ePPFD) throughout the period that the lights are on, referred to as the Photoperiod. DLI, adds up and averages instantaneous measurements of ePPFD throughout the Photoperiod. The light that radiates to your plants drives photosynthesis and is called photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and is traditionally defined as total radiation across a wavelength range of 400 nm to 700 nm. ePPFD is a measure of the extended Photosynthetically Aactive Radiation (ePAR) across a spectral wavelength of 400 nm to 750 nm. Recent research has shown that far-red photons in the range of 700 nm to 750 nm enhance photosynthesis. It takes a very specific sensor to measure ePAR and we're thrilled to bring that to you this HydroMesh sensor!
